Preparation Or R.N. Licensure is the ideal programme for a foreign educated (including from India) Nurse in Canada.
Registration as a R.N. in the home country with 1125 hours of clinical experience as Registered Nurse is the most important qualification required to apply for this programme. The ideal IELTS score required to enter in to the programme is 6.5 over all, in academic module.
The practical component of 4 months Work Placement in an approved heath care setting in Canada, makes it a Co-op Education programme. This practical component helps the students to qualify with 200 hours Canadian Work Experience required to meet the conditions set by the Nursing board / council for foreign educated nurses in Canada.
Students will qualify for post study work visa for at least a year on successful completion of the programme, provided their School is a participating member in the scheme.
Most of the Schools offering CRNE preparation programme is situated in Ontario, British Columbia and the average tuition is CN$14,000 – 16,000.
