SVR Global is a leading Floating Ball valve manufacturer in USA. In a floating ball valve the ball and stem are housed in the valve body, which is normally constructed of metal. It has ports for fluid flow at the intake and outflow. The ball and stem are the two main parts of a floating ball valve. A hole (bore) runs through the center of the ball, which is an element of closure that is spherical or half spherical in shape. The stem, which is joined to the ball, transmits the rotational motion needed to open or close the valve. Two seats, or sealing rings, are included on either side of the ball in these valves. When the valve is closed, these seats form a seal against the surface of the ball to stop leakage. By rotating the valve stem, the ball is turned 90 degrees to the open position. By doing so, the ball's bore is brought into line with the flow direction, allowing fluid to pass through the valve with little to no hindrance. When the stem is 90 degrees turned again in the closed position, the ball rotates and obstructs the flow route. Fluid cannot travel through the valve because of the tight seal that is made by the seats on either side of the ball. To control the flow of fluids, usually liquids or gases, through a pipeline, floating ball valves are a type of quarter-turn valve that are frequently employed in numerous industries. The word "floating" describes the construction of the ball inside the valve, which floats between two sealing rings or seats rather than being set in place. Floating ball valves are renowned for being straightforward, dependable, and simple to use.
