VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for Application Developer for one of its clients which is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company in Qatar with the following and terms and conditions.

Skill set required:

Bachelor Degree in IT or IT related field
5 or more years’ experience in developing software applications, preferably, out of which at least 3 years with insurance applications.
Experience of using Business Objects and report building functions from User through to Admin.
Experience of BI reports creation and publishing
In-depth knowledge and experience in Oracle 12c
In-depth knowledge and experience in SQL and PL/SQL including tuning.
In-depth knowledge and experience in Import/Export, SQL*Loader planning.
Oracle OCP Certification is a plus.
Familiarity with Oracle specific tools and utilities.
Knowledge of Quest TOAD
Knowledge of PLSQL & SQL Developer
Knowledge of XML and HTML
Knowledge of open source web development and Java

Technical and functional experience in development activities of following;

Quotation Process
Creation/updation/Deletion of Policy
Different types of Endorsement creation and updation
Different treaty Setup
Reinsurance Plan creation
Claim Processing
Payment Processing
Interface of Insurance application to the other system like Oracle Apps
Different reports relate to Policy, reinsurance, Quotation, claims, Payments and MIS.

Roles and Responsibility’s:

Knowledge of the Project Management and in the preparation of the document like Project Plans, WBS and Project Status reports.
Data structure design, development and creation of packages, procedures and functions based on business requirements in Oracle Database 12c.
Designing and development in forms and reports 12c and BI Publisher 12c.
Performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of Oracle reporting databases.
Reviewing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code.
Provision of support and assistance in the design, testing, tuning and implementation of database applications
Creation and maintenance of SQL queries and routines
Writing ad-hoc queries based on schema knowledge for various reporting requirements.
Writing / Tuning data ingestion procedures from external suppliers and partners using PL/SQL, SQL loader, 3rd party tools like Toad etc.
Required to deal with complex data models and object relational database mapping, while producing complex reports
