Engineer/Operator of Cold Roll-Forming iron machine.

Salary : 3500QR to 4000QR + A + T

Location : DOHA, QATAR
Industrial type : Piling sheets manufacture

Our plant has special equipment providing cold roll-forming section steel for metallurgy construction, transportation, machinery, and vehicle industries. It takes a certain specification of long strip steel as raw materials, through cold-forming method to produce the suitable section steels, such as sheet pile, C/U shape sections. The plant needs an Engineer/Operator of Cold Roll-Forming iron machine.

General Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic must have 5+ years of experience in machine setup and tear down, tool and die sharpening, electrical control troubleshooting and performing failure analysis for root cause.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operate a cold roll forming iron machine.
Must have advanced mechanical aptitude and ability
Must have strong knowledge of electrical wiring repairs and installations, AC/DC controls and schematic diagrams.
Must have experience in mechanical maintenance of production machinery, including maintenance of pneumatics and hydraulics and ordering machine parts.
Loads and unloads parts from rolling mills
Performs quality checks instructions
Performing Maintenance Mechanics
Makes adjustments to rolls and completes coil changeovers.
Responsible for guarding, crane operating and coil handling
Responsible for following established procedures for:
ISO-9002/D1-9000, Basic Computer Skills and Blueprint Reading / SPC
STEPS program to include: JIT, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and Six Sigma
Responsible for a working knowledge of:
Visual Software/Business Systems
Raw Material Tickets, Work-In-Process/Finished Goods/Inventory Tickets
Set-up Charts, Rework/Defective Parts, End of Shift Paperwork and Route Sheets
Understanding of Tool Storage/Staging Operations
Responsible for the following:
Assisting in the placement of raw material.
Assisting in the removal of parts and packing.
Cutting parts by hand, where applicable
Education/Experience Requirement

Engineering degree.
Previous cold roll-forming experience.
Ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. Focuses on Machine setup and tear down, precision measurement adjustments, Tool and Die sharpening, failure analysis to root cause, Electrical Controls troubleshooting.
