Job Profile

Versed with the administration of Personal Protective Equipment, Scaffolding, Fire Fighting and First aid facilities within the construction site.
To co-ordinate with the client/consultant and advice the project manager and the supervisor in the ways to prevent accidents (injury, vehicle accident, fire, property damage etc) and improve the existing work method.
Investigated incident/ accident along with the responsible team leader and recommended the preventive measure for avoiding reoccurrence.
Conducted and enforced various safety systems such as risk assessment, pre work briefing for various construction activities and record keeping.
Brought together the elements of various disciplines i.e. Mechanical, Electrical and Maintenance to identify potential hazards and suggested corrective action to be taken as per the class of hazard.
Identified training needs for workforce and supervisory staff to get competency level.
To carry out weekly toolbox safety meeting, monthly supervision safety meeting, daily inspection of safety and training in all levels.
Thoroughly checking all work activities especially unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and corrective action taken to eliminate all hazards.
To check and comply with companys health, safety and environment regulations.
Be familiar with work permit system, hazards materials and heavy equipment especially cranes.
To ensure that the specific and suitable arrangement for safe use and handling of hazards / toxic chemicals and flammable liquid gases.
To inspect the power tools, ladders, hand tools, fire extinguisher and reporting to the management.
To make daily safety observation report, weekly report, monthly report, Monthly statistical report, accident report (if any) needed from time to time. Maintains a
