VAM Systems is currently looking for Storage Engineer for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Skill Set required:

Minimum 8 years of experience engineering solutions and instrumentation for EMC and HP Storage Area Networks (SAN) for mission critical, enterprise applications and databases
Linux Red Hat, RHCE certifications will be an advantage
Strong NetBackup experience is required
Hand on experience with VMware technologies, VMware Certified Professionals is a plus
Should have extensive technical knowledge and experience in operational maintenance, availability, capacity planning, and monitoring of critical Storage Area Networking (SAN)
Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Brocade SAN switches.
Linux and UNIX server infrastructure administration and performing operational support activities (installation, configuration, upgrades, patching troubleshooting, performance tuning.
Oversee NetBackup infrastructure to ensure that best practices are in place and the infrastructure is optimized for performance and reliability
Work with the team to restructure the existing backup infrastructure and set a strategic plan for disaster recovery.
Provide technical leadership in the design, installation, configuration, and implementation of VMware products and services
Terms and conditions: 

Joining time frame: 30 days.
