Description

I am a Law Graduate with dual additional qualifications in ‘Master of Business’ and ‘Public Administration’. I enrolled as an ‘Advocate’ on the rolls of Bar Council of Tamil Nadu in India on 24 June 1981 (Roll No. 612 of 1981).

I possess three decades of legal acumen and experience in drafting a variety of: pleadings, submissions, claims, counter-claims and contract documents in English; with two (2) years of initial practice in civil, consumer and commercial laws as an Advocate and Junior to Government Pleader, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, followed by over twelve (12) years as an Administrative (Legal Assistant) in Secretariat of Board of Trustees of Madras Port Trust, a major port on east coast of India.

I set a national precedent on 8 January 2003 on the file of National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, New Delhi, India in F.A.525/1995 against order of State Commission in OP 438/1992 . I am also an amateur ‘Right To Information’ activist.

Over the past twenty (20) years, I have gathered diverse experience in GCC countries of Saudi Arabia, U.A.E. and Qatar since 1995; of which last nine years have been in Doha, Qatar as a Contracts Administrator.

I also happen to have garnered exposure and experience of ICC International Commercial Arbitration as well as proceedings under New York Convention 1958 in course of my employment in Qatar. I was a full-time student of LL.M (International & European Law) at Riga Graduate School of Law in Riga, Latvia during academic year 2015 - 2016.
