VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Android App Developer for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill set required:
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as ‘touch’
• Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
• Knowledge of the open -source Android ecosystem and t he libraries available for common tasks
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Understanding of guidelines
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git also understanding on hybrid application development will be preferred
• Familiarity with continuous integration

Required Qualifications

Minimum Graduation with computer specialization
Relevant Certifications will add value

Roles and Responsibility

• Analyse project and design specifications to develop mobile applications.
• Prepare technical documentations at both program level and user level.
• Follow coding standards defined by Company.
• Assist in coding, debugging, testing, and documenting of application programs.
• Participate in development and maintenance of applications.
• Assist in developing architectural design and functional specifications.
• Support Technical Support Desk in troubleshooting and fixing bugs
• and other programmatic issues.
• Review, encode and test change management requests for the mobile app
• Develop flow charts and block diagrams to show programming workflow.
• Contribute towards the internal Research & Development.

Experience required – 5+ Years

Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks)
