The National Health Insurance Company (NHIC) manages and operates Qatari's social health insurance scheme.The scheme envisages health insurance coverage citizens , foreign residents and visitors in the country . It forms one part of the realization of the National Strategy which forsees affordable healthcare for everyone in Qatar and offers participants a choice of providers from across the public and private healthcare providers in the Country. NHIC is looking for Candidates with relevant expertise and experience to fill the following positions:

Medical
Medical Director -MD-0
Responsibilites
-Developing polices, prcedures and goverance mechanisms related to medical strategy, ensuring aligment with all interelated governmental health systems improvement initiatives and representing the senior management of the company on arelated committees
-Supervising disease management programs.

Head of Policy & Oversight -MD-1
Responsibilities
-Creating inventory of all clinical services covered within the schedule of benefits for each covered populations segment requiring policy decisions.
-Developing or adopting appropriate medical standards and syndicating with relevant stakeholders
-Working with TPA to convert medical standards into actionable guidelines for prior authorization of services and claims adjudication.
-Supervising TPAs developer of claims adjudication rules and post-payment providers (medical)
auditing criteria.

Head of Diseases Management -MD-6
Responsibilities
-Monitoring and supervising TPA's delivery of the current Maternity Management Programmes and driving continous improvement.
-Advising and Supervising TPA in the design and delivery of the new Diabetes Disease Mangement Programme.
-Liasing with stakeholder communities to ensure broad aligment with company's disease management strategies.
-Developing future disease mangement portfolio.
-Integrating disease management programs with others functions and needs of the company.
-Developing Future Diease management portfolio.

-Developing disease management outcomes measurements and reporting.
