Exciting opportunity for Financial Controller to join a multinational’s Qatar operations
Role description
As Financial Controller of Hertel’s Qatar based operations you will be responsible for the Finance Department of the business there. Reporting to the locally based General Manager and the Regional Finance Director you will have considerable autonomy and a mandate to streamline and improve current finance processes with a particular focus on providing detailed and accurate management information and decision support analysis.
Who we’re looking for
Key selection criteria include:
• Fluent English and Arabic would be an added advantage
• Professionally qualified with 5-10 years relevant experience (Maters/Equivalent Degree –
Business/Finance)
• Ideally ‘Big 4’ trained and experience within the Industrial Services or Construction Sector
(preferably with multinational companies)
• Experience with the GCC is essential and exposure to the Qatar market is strongly preferred
• Strong analytical skills and experience in a senior role
• The ability to work autonomously and have a pro-active nature
• Business enabling attitude and business partner for the local General Manager
• Demonstrate tangible experience of business process re-engineering and system implementation
