VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for DevOps Engineer for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:
• Operating a large-scale Internet presence.
• Good understanding of security issues on Internet facing web infrastructures
• Deep understanding of Linux, including a variety of systems tools: from monitoring,
alerting and log aggregation to system performance analysis and tuning
• Ability to identify opportunities and set infrastructure priorities
• Practical knowledge of shell scripting and at least one scripting language (PHP, Java,
Python)
• Experience of building and maintaining Apache and Tomcat environments.
• Training, mentoring and development of staff.
• Provisioning and monitoring cloud based infrastructure: AWS, Rackspace Cloud, Heroku,
etc.
• Experience with a configuration management system: Chef, Puppet, CFEngine, etc.
• Experience automating build, release, and test, and deploy using Git, Maven, and
Jenkins.
• Experience of working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams with a focus on
delivery in a rapidly changing environment.
Experience Required: 5 Years
