The British Embassy Doha would like to invite applications for the position of
Corporate Services Officer (HR & Transport)

Main Purpose:
-----------------
As Corporate Services Officer (HR & Transport) the jobholder will require some HR and Supervisory experience, with good organisational and financial skills. They will be responsible for the day to day administration relating to HR & transport policies at the Embassy, and as part of the Corporate Services Team they will be required from time to time to undertake wider work in support of Embassy objectives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Cover for the HR Manager as required.
- Management of delegated budgets including tranport and training.
- Line management of Corporate Services Assistant (reception), Executive Liaison Officer (ELO) and drivers.
- Maintain HR documentation in relation to locally engaged employees as per guidance.
- Assisting the training manager in the co-ordinating of the staff training and development programme.
- Oversee and assist with the recruitment process, transport and shipping related matters.
- Any other duties as required.

- Able to work as part of a team and may be called on from time to time to take on extra responsibilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus.
- Able to take instruction and at all times, able to work effectively, productively and unsupervised.
- Able to assess and prioritiese your workload, often under pressure.
- Willing to do routine work from filling papers, retrieving files or answering calls.
- Supervisory, administration and previous HR experience is desirable.
- Must have excellent spoken and written English.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Someone who is innovative, patient, focused and accurate in their approach to working.

Salary and employment
-----------------------
This position is available for an immediate start, and is offered on a full time NON SPONSORED BASIS with a starting salary of Qr. 10,700 per month inclusive of all benefits and paid in arrears.
